Prohibition Liquor Co. was created by a couple of Adelaide lads, with a shared passion for gin. Working to create an exceptional neat-drinking gin, we spent the first 2 years making over 12,000 bottles from one inner-suburbs garage.

With an exceptional quality product and a distinctive brand, we have collected over 75 international awards for spirit and packaging.

The Prohibition Distillery and Tasting Room in Gilbert Street, Adelaide is our coming of age. From here, we distil a range of small batch spirits for your tasting pleasure.

Our Gins

From our Original Gin, a contemporary London Dry style which makes the perfect Dry Martini, to our Bathtub Cut Gin at 69% Alc./Vol. for your favourite cocktails, Prohibition have a gin for every occasion.
Our Shiraz Barrel Aged Gin delivers 60% ABV with a soft Bourbon note from the American Oak Rye Whiskey barrels, with a rich blush Shiraz colour.

Distillery

Drop by our Adelaide CBD Distillery to see ‘Mary’ our beautiful copper pot still in action, making gin several times a week. The only of its kind in the Adelaide.

Tasting Room

As a true ‘City Cellar Door’ for spirits, our Tasting Room caters to Masterclasses, groups, tourists or just a casual drop in for a G&T or Tasting Flight with a friend, any Thursday to Sunday. With over 100 craft gins on our bar, you can sample spirits from artisans all over Australia and the world, and of course the full Prohibition range, including some special PLC Tasting Room only releases.
