About
St Mary’s Wines and Spirits is a small family owned and operated Winery and Distillery based in Penola, SA.
The family has been in the Penola area since 1937.
St Mary’s Wines was first developed in the mid 80’s and the first vintage for St Mary’s wines was 1990.
St Mary’s Spirits was started in 2015 with the St Mary’s Vodka range and now it has expanded to incorporate a Cane Spirit range, unaged rum, and a ‘London Dry’ Gin.
The same philosophy that we use in our winemaking transfers across into the crafting of St Mary’s spirits. We look for flavour , colour, aromatics , presence in the glass and we feel we deliver that with all of our products.
Signature Recipe
St Mary's Long Island Iced Tea
A refreshing and stealthy drink, do not under estimate it’s sneakiness.
Ingredients
- 15ml Mulligan’s White Cane Spirit
- 15ml St Mary’s London Dry Gin
- 15ml your favourite tequila
- 15ml St Mary’s Vodka
- 15ml St Mary’s Cara Cara Orange Infused Vodka
- 40ml lemon juice
- 15ml sugar syrup
- Ice, to serve
- Cola, to serve
- Lemon slices, to serve
Method
- Place the Cane Spirt, Gin, Tequila, Vodka, Orange Vodka, lemon juice and sugar syrup in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Shake, and then strain into an ice-filled tall glass.
- Top with cola and garnish with lemon slices.
